Job Title: Drivers

Job Description

The Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons wishes to engage the services of qualified and industrious persons to fill the following vacancy in the Establishment.

Job Summary:
To be part of the pool of drivers to provide service to facilitate College business.

Job Responsibility:

• Ensure morning daily check on the vehicle assigned before movement
• Observe strict cleanliness of the vehicle
• Ensure a good maintenance culture of the vehicle
• Fill log book in the journeys made
• Attend to minor mechanical faults and or report such fault
• Be responsible for the safety of the vehicle
• Act on renewals of roadworthy and insurance certificates
• Prepare periodic notes on the performance of the vehicle for the information of superior

Remuneration: Salary and conditions of Service are attractive

Required Skills or Experience

The candidates must satisfy the following requirements:

• Should possess a valid driving license “A” and must have at least the BECE. SHS certificates will be an advantage
• Should have served on the driver Grade II for a minimum of three years

Personal Specification:

• Should be medically fit to drive
• Must have had an accident free record for the past ten years
• Must be of good character and credible
• Should be ready to work overtime
