Job Description

A leading research organization in Ghana is seeking highly qualified and experienced Economists to undertake research and advocacy on pertinent Economic Policy issues in Ghana.

Will carry out economic analyses across a wide range of country issues and will design policy and institutional reforms in support of Ghana’s efforts to eradicate poverty and promote Economic Growth.
Provide intellectual leadership, direct quality and lead research.
Coach, mentor, and advice staff.

Required Skills or Experience

A Ph. D in economics as well as a strong research and publication record.
At least 7years relevant experience in policy issues in developing countries.
Sound knowledge of statistical and econometric techniques for the forecasting and monitoring of public expenditure developments and for analytical application of these techniques.
Comprehensive experience in preparing policy related briefing papers and in analyzing fiscal development and policies, together with strong interest in institutional issues.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate ideas effectively within a short period of time.
Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated track record of team work with multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
Strong client orientation, willingness to work with wide range of government, civil society, and donor counterparts.Remuneration
