Job Description
A software company seeks to hire an account manager who reports directly to the Head of Sales. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing client relationships and will be tasked with the primary goal/ responsibility of helping clients grow their value added services (VAS) business.
In this role, he/she will:
facilitate knowledge transfer between clients, the development team and the engineering unit in order to effectively meet clients’ needs.
use market and industry trends to propose new business opportunities and growth areas (as pertains to sales).
work with the clients to ensure that services introduced by the products team are successfully launched, viable and profitable.
use service performance analysis to propose and implement improvements to existing services
Key Responsibilities include :
Engaging in sales activities that drive the company’s top-line growth whiles preserving other key financial indicators
Being responsible for business development in the French speaking African territories
Being part of the team that analyzes, reviews and implements the business vision of the company as pertaining to marketing and sales strategy and other matters in general described as business development
Engaging in marketing and sales initiatives including international travel to industry trade shows as well as client and potential client offices for presentations, demonstrations, marketing and sales activity
Assisting in the implementation of marketing and sales plans
Contributing to the development and optimization of tools for measuring and analyzing productivity
Managing multiple client and sales accounts
Utilizing performance statistics/data to support the optimization service delivery
Required Skills or Experience
Skills/Requirements:
Must be fluent in French and English
Must be able to effectively interact with a diverse range of corporate clients (from executive level to Junior Staff)
Must have strong analytical and research skills
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must have excellent organizational and time management skills
Must be authorized to work in Ghana
Qualifications
Minimum of an undergraduate degree from a recognized and accredited tertiary institution
A technology background is a plus
Prior sales experience in technology is a plus
Prior entrepreneurship experience is a plus
0–2 years working experience for Level I, 2-5 years experience for level II
